to spread the message:

Don't get Sick! Wash up Quick!

Scrubby Bear ® was developed by the American Red Cross, and is the symbol of a national campaign

 to teach children, health care personnel, day care providers,

and educators that infection can be combated through frequent hand washing.

 Scrubby Bear ® aims to teach children ages 4-7 years old how germs are spread,

how to prevent the spread of disease, and how to properly wash their hands.
